THE SHORT STORY

I'm a wife and a mom. I'm from a big, loud family (great for managing your wedding day crew). I'm a foodie so naturally, I love to cook. This also means I'm a terrible baker who hates measuring things. I'm raising my family in a small blue house where a project is always underway.

Experience

My photography journey began in 2016 as I watched a wedding photographer hard at work and instantly knew that was what I wanted to do. I became obsessed with seeing moments through the lens of my camera. I attended night classes while working full time and slowly built up my brand. For me, photography is the perfect blend of creativity and technical skills.

I've since photographed over a hundred families and weddings. I have worked under ten photographers from all over, diversifying my skillset and fine tuning my approach.

DOCUMENTARY-STYLE PHOTOGRAPHY

My style is intentional yet quite simple. I keep things real and true to life which allows me to focus on capturing your true emotion and connection. During sessions you will laugh and wander, while I focus on the dynamic that makes you unique. My goal is to create timeless images that will live on the walls of your home forever.

As you explore through my portfolio, you'll see that my style is a mix of playful and candid meets romantic and rich with emotion. During sessions, I balance between being a fly on the wall to directing a group of twenty-something people. I love to capture the raw, silly moments but I also capture traditionally posed images, too.

I'm incredibly grateful to meet so many couples and families, many of which quickly become friends. To be trusted to capture your most intimate moments is a true honor, and one of the best parts of this role.
