Naumkeag Winterlights Proposal
Y'all....this proposal was so sweet. Meeting new people is one of the best parts about my job.
Matt was so thoughtful and kind. We were going back and forth for weeks before the big day figuring out our plan for how he would propose at Naumkeag. And it was perfect! Lauren was SO surprised, like in shock the entire time. She had no idea and was over the moon happy.
After the proposal, we took a few moments to soak things in and then wandered around the Winterlight's show and just had fun with it. I captured them looking at all the exhibits (and captured Lauren's shock and excitement as it continued to sneak up on us).
As we walked around together, we chatted about how they met, who they were going to tell first and the fact that they had a wedding to plan!
The tree filled path that is over the top lit up might have been my favorite (though I am a sucker for the greenhouse, too). The light tunnels pictured above were Lauren's favorite for sure.
And hats off to Naumkeag for the amazing show they put on for our community each year and for creating a space for special moments like this to unfold.
